The Globalstar Unlimited plan will be in place until 2009. Globalstar is the only mobile satellite operator launching spare satellites for our existing network, and building a new generation satellite constellation, scheduled to begin deployment in 2009. With the successful launch of eight spare satellites scheduled for this year, along with our existing satellite network, Globalstar will continue to provide and support two-way voice and data satellite services to our customers through the launch of the second-generation constellation. However, there may be significant gaps in satellite availability depending on where you are and when you attempt to place a call.
Prices exclusive of VAT. Unlimited usage applies to Globalstar Europe's Home Zone usage only. Plans are based on 12 month contracts, with an activation charge of €50, and are available at selected authorised Globalstar Dealer locations. Early de-activation of the contract will result in a cancellation fee of €250. Plan change incur an additional 12 month commitment is required. All incoming calls received in the home zone are not charged. Voice and dial-up data airtime billing is based on a one minute minimum and one minute increments thereafter. Long distance calls from Globalstar Europe's Home Zone are subject to applicable long distance charges. Call Forwarding access is included with the Unlimited plan, and are subject to service fees of €0.15 per minute and cannot be applied to plan minutes. Forwarding to numbers outside of Globalstar Europe's Home Zone will incur the same fee of €0.15 per minute, along with the applicable long distance charges. Calls to other satellite service customers will result in additional charges. Unlimited Burst data Usage applies to outbound Direct Internet (#777) data calls originating from Globalstar Europe's Home Zone only. For Direct Internet coverage please ask an authorised Globalstar Dealer, or see the Coverage section click here: Unlimited Usage does not apply while roaming. The tariff for a roaming call is €0.80 or €1.55 depending on the origination of the call. See here for more details on roaming charges.
