FAU-200 Fixed Phone System
The FAU-200 is Globalstar's cost-effective, fixed system for satellite telephone service. High quality, voice-only transmissions provide vessels, businesses and remote communities with the vital link to existing telephone systems.
This weatherproof unit can be mounted on any convenient outdoor location with a clear view of the sky. The fixed, omni-directional antennas do not require aiming or calibration. The FAU-200 can be connected to most telephone systems through an analogue line input inside any watercraft, office or home.
The rugged construction of the FAU-200 makes it the ideal, low-cost system for commercial or leisure boats, and industrial sites. Secure, digital call quality is comparable to cellular with no noticeable voice delay.
