Globalstar GSP-2900 Fixed Phone System
The GSP-2900 is Globalstar's fixed solution for delivering superb voice and data capabilities to nautical and remote terrestrial operations. Maritime customers depend on this system to exchange vital ship-to-shore information, for data, e-mail and Web services, for emergency communications, and to stay connected to family and friends when at sea.
The system can be mounted above deck where there is a clear line-of-sight to the sky, or below deck by installing the antenna remotely from the base unit. The GSP-2900 can be connected to most telephone systems through an analogue line input, and is compatible with standard telephones and answering machines.
Globalstar and the GSP-2900 combine to deliver broad coverage with extended international roaming for parts of the most heavily navigated bodies of water such as the Mediterranean, Caribbean and North Seas, and the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans. The GSP-2900 is also well suited to remote land installations, with coverage extending to more than 120 countries worldwide.

* The Globalstar GSP-2900 Basic Kit is for external installation only, and cannot be retrofitted in the field into a Remote Stick or Mini Stick Antenna installation. Be certain of the installation requirements prior to ordering the GSP-2900 system. Telephone set not included.
